how it works
bios is composed of three essential elements:
-
interviewers and interviewees
-
writers and editors
-
readers

these are people with stories to be told and those talented in the art of instigating their delivery. our interviewees are determined by our clients during their pre-interview session. these interviewees are matched through bios with members of our Interviewer's Team who record their sessions and then pass them along to members of our Author's Club.
many of our interviewers are writers, editors, and readers as well. most of our interviewees become readers.
interviewers and interviewees:

these people are expert synthesizers. they combine the smorgasbord of perspectives provided by our interviewers and interviewees into intimate, compelling, satisfying, panoramic narratives.
while often interviewers as well, it is in the nature of the role that our writers and editors are also readers.
writers and editors:

these people read bios biographies. our clients - the people who book a bios biography of their own and designate our interviewees during their pre-interview session - are readers. so are all of the people with which they choose to share their completed bios biography.
it is often the case that many of our readers are interviewees as well. as mentioned above, all of our writers and editors are also readers.
readers:
the overlapping nature of the three elements that make up bios manifests itself in the form of an unfathomable amount of hours of kaleidoscopic storytelling - aural and written. this is the reason for bios to be. It is also the reason why no element can be more essential than another.

bios is for readers - there is no question about that. however, it would be more accurate to describe bios as for storytelling. there is no storytelling without somebody there listening. words can be written without ever being read, let alone listened to.

bios biographies cannot.

we welcome you to explore the element of bios within which you are currently most able to imagine yourself. we encourage you to be open to that changing. we guarantee that you will not foresee where bios is capable of bringing you.
